Health & Safety Protocols
We maintain a clean, well-ventilated, and thoughtfully designed environment. Every coach is CPR/AED certified, and our facility exceeds industry standards for hygiene and equipment maintenance.
A Safe Space to Train
From daily deep cleans to emergency action plans, we leave nothing to chance. Here's how we protect our community.
Daily Sanitization
High-touch surfaces, rigs, barbells, and floor space are sanitized multiple times daily with hospital-grade disinfectant. Each member is asked to wipe down equipment after use.
Air Quality & Ventilation
Our HVAC system circulates fresh air continuously, and our bay doors remain open when weather permits. Ceiling fans keep air moving during every class.
Hand Sanitizer Stations
Wall-mounted dispensers are placed at the entrance, near every rig, and in common areas. Hand washing is encouraged before and after every session.
Emergency Equipment
We maintain on-site AED units, fully stocked first aid kits, and emergency response kits. Coaches recertify CPR/AED biannually.
Incident Reporting
Any injury or near-miss is documented, reviewed by our head coach, and used to improve our protocols. Transparency is key to ongoing safety.
Staff Training
All coaches complete annual safety refreshers covering spotting techniques, common injury prevention, and emergency response drills.
How You Can Help
A safe gym is a shared effort. Please follow these simple guidelines during every visit.
| Guideline | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Wipe down equipment after each use | Reduces germ transmission and keeps stations ready for the next athlete. |
| Stay home if you feel unwell | Protects fellow members and staff from illness. We'll gladly help you reschedule. |
| Report spills or hazards immediately | Prevents slips and falls. Alert a coach and we'll address it within seconds. |
| Use proper footwear | Closed-toe athletic shoes with non-marking soles are required for safety on all surfaces. |
| Listen to your body | Inform your coach of any pain or discomfort. Scaling is always available — no ego, just progress. |
| Respect weight room etiquette | Rerack weights, share equipment, and maintain awareness of your surroundings during lifts. |
Staying Healthy Together
Our policies adapt to current public health guidance. As of 2026, we follow Travis County and CDC recommendations while prioritizing common-sense prevention.
If you test positive for COVID-19, flu, or any contagious illness: Please refrain from visiting the gym for at least 5 days and until symptoms improve. We'll happily freeze your membership for the duration — just let us know.
Masks are optional and always respected. We support members who choose to wear one and maintain a judgment-free environment for all personal health decisions.
Additional cleaning rounds are triggered during peak cold and flu season. We increase sanitization frequency and make disposable masks available at the front desk.
